What’s something is better than nothing?
Something is better than nothing is a fitness newsletter with a simple mission: help people understand the basics of strength training and nutrition so they can live a stronger life without restriction.
The newsletter is sent out twice a week, every week: one on Wednesdays for everyone & one on Saturdays for paid subscribers only.
Topics range from strength training guidance to nutrition education to recipes to stress management and wellness strategies. In addition to my weekly newsletter, paying subscribers get access to additional subscriber-only posts, comment threads to connect to others navigating through their fitness journey (so helpful!), online workshop announcements, and more.

I have been a personal trainer for almost a decade and got into this profession to help people. I love seeing the difference strength training makes: the confidence boost, the sense of accomplishment, the discipline, the celebration when goals are met or surpassed, the resilience it takes to get back on track when they aren’t – that’s what has kept me in the game. But I’m only one person and I want to help as many people as possible.
And that’s why I created something is better than nothing.
